To celebrate the upcoming release of book two in my Mechanical Men series, I’ve decided to give you a quick tour of Hudson Enterprises, where the Mechanical Men were created. Remember, what you see here is top secret, especially since the original machines aren’t machines at all.

They’re artificial intelligence from another planet. We could lose our license if word of this got out. So, let’s keep this between us. Enjoy the tour.

Welcome to the wonderful world of mechanical men. Here at Hudson Enterprise, we pride ourselves on creating the most realistic men we can. Our Mechanical Men are protectors. YOU will be your robot’s number one priority.

Your personal mechanical man will be programmed to follow your every order. Each robot has been put through strenuous testing to make sure they are safe and know how to respond in NORMAL situations.

However, if you have any issues with your robot, we do have a 1-800 number for you to call to schedule a pick up/repair. I hope you give mechanical men a try. Gemini Prescott has been burned by love too many times. There’s no way she’s going back down that road again. When she learns of mechanical men, she believes she’s found the perfect antidote to her problems. Mechanical men can’t break your heart. Mechanical men can’t cheat on you with your best friend. Zain only has one goal: to return to his home-world. Though most of his brethren are enjoying their new life on Earth, Zain has no desire to follow their lead. “We will start over,” he told her, still pacing back and forth in front of her.

Seated on the edge of the bed, Gem agreed. “Yes, I would like to start over.”

His head jerked her way. “Good,” he said before staring at the carpet as he paced.

She waited for him to say more. With his hands in his pockets, he seemed to be deep in thought. She didn’t want to interrupt him. She was just so excited.

“First,” he told her. “I will tell you a little bit about me.”

Gem nodded. She had no idea why. He wasn’t looking her way.

“Then you will tell me about yourself, understood?”

“Yes, sir.” She resisted the urge to salute.

Again, his brown gaze met hers.

“Good,” he told her before looking down at the carpet again. “After we talk about ourselves, we will discuss other things.”

“Like what?”

“Like… like our wants and desires.”

She desired him, right here, right now.

“You will tell me what you like and don’t like,” he told her. “Then I will tell you what I like and don’t like. Then you will tell me other things.”

“What kind of other things?”

“Things you’d only share with someone close to you. The closest human to you.”

“You mean the things I tell my best friends?”

“No. We will not be best friends,” he told her. “We’ll be more. You’ll tell me
the things you would tell a human who was more to you.”

“You mean, like a boyfriend?”

He stopped pacing and faced her. “No, not a boyfriend. You and I, Gemini, we will be so much more than that.”

Her whole body was tingling.

“Understood?” he asked.

Gem nodded. “Yes, sir.”

“Good. Are you ready?”

Her panties were already wet.
She was beyond ready.
