Today, I’m showcasing my Sci-Fi Romance series, Succubus Nights. Enjoy!
In the Succubus Nights series, three best friends find themselves in three tough situations. In book one, Natina gets stranded on Earth and ends up in a situation she never thought she’d be in. Now, she never wants to leave Earth.
In book two, Anika is trying to prove she can be a bounty hunter by tracking down the most dangerous male in the galaxy. She chases him all the way to Earth. Unfortunately, instead of catching him, he catches her. Now, he doesn’t want to let her go.
In book three, Izzie decides she needs to go to Earth to save both of her best friends. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know how to fly a space craft. Luckily, someone she knows does. When this someone starts acting strange, Izzie begins to suspect that something is wrong. She’s right. She’s been kidnapped by a shape shifting dragon.
These three females prove that love can be found in even the strangest places. (FYI: I found love the normal way… at Walmart. LOL. That’s really where I met my husband.)

~The Half-Breed~
She is Izeria’Ahzul, the long-lost daughter of my king. She was raised away from our people and knows nothing of her heritage. Our kind are a myth to her. She doesn’t believe we exist and there’s no way she’ll believe she’s one of us.
~The Beast~
I am Shun’Uhl, the soldier ordered to return her to my king’s side so she can marry a royal and produce an heir to save our people. To get her to trust me, I shed my beastly form and took on the form of someone she knows. I chose unwisely. The form I’ve selected is a male she despises.
~The Forbidden~
The more time I spend with her, the more she comes to like me. And though I’ve tried to resist, I find myself falling for her also. Her feelings for me will change once she learns of my deception and sees how I really look. Part of me wants to complete my mission and return her to her father. Another part of me wants to remain in this form forever and spend my life with Izeria.
I have a choice to make: be honest with the woman I love and risk losing her, or lie to her for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately, the choice is made for me when we come under attack and I have to release my beast to protect her.
Now it is she who has to make a choice: Me and my beast or a kingdom?
Jacob grips my hand and we leave the ship. I stare around me. This is nothing like I thought it would be. I was expecting flashing lights, big buildings and maybe a flying rover or two.
All I see are more ships like ours, all pulled into a docking station. Most are being refueled by bots, some are being manually fueled. There’s smoke in the air and it’s not coming from the ships. I think beings are doing drugs around here.
“Not as glamorous as you thought it’d be huh, Princess?” Jacob asks as we walk to the back of the ship.
“Where are the skyscrapers and the flashing lights? Where are the flying rovers and the…?”
“In the movies, Princess. In real life, nothing is what we want it to be.”
“I guess.”
“How are you feeling?”
“I’m fine. I don’t feel dizzy anymore.”
“Good.”
I fold my arms over my chest. I know I’m pouting. I can’t help it. This is the dingiest outpost ever. I lean against the ship while Jacob begins fueling. I’m probably going to catch a contact high from being out here. All outposts can’t be this way. I have to know.
“Are all outpost like this?”
“No. Some are worse.”
“Really?”
“And some are better, much better.”
“Why didn’t we stop at one of those better ones?”
“This was closer and we needed to get off the radar of those rebels.”
“Speaking of rebels. Am I seeing things or are those orbs drifting toward us?”
“Stay calm. All outposts have them.”
“What are they for?” They’re getting closer.
“They’re facial recognition scanners. Just hold still. They’ll scan you and move on. Unless you’ve committed a crime.”
“I haven’t.”
“Then you have nothing to worry about.”
The black metal looking ball moves closer to me. Once it’s eye level with me, a small hole opens up on the front of it and a green light shoots out. I blink.
“Scan failed. Rescanning now,” a robotic voice comes from the orb.
“Hold still,” Jacob tells me. “Don’t blink.”
“Okay.” I hold still and force my eyes to remain open as the green light scans me.
“Scan complete. All clear.” Good.
The orb turns to Jacob, who is standing still with his eyes wide open. He smiles at me. I smile back, a little embarrassed for being so nervous about a simple scan. Those rebel orbs really have me nervous.
The metal orb shoots out its green light. Jacob doesn’t blink. I expect the orb to do the same thing it did with me. Say scan complete, all clear and then move on. It doesn’t. It scans him again.
I fold my arms over my chest, growing nervous. When the orb scans him a third time, I move closer to Jacob. He raises his hand, a sign for me to stay where I am. The orb scans again, this time the beam it shoots out is red.
“Get on the ship, princess. Blue, lock the ship down. Yes, and keep the princess safe until I return.”
“What?” I’m confused. “How are you talking to Blue while you’re not on the ship.”
He points to his ear. “Go princess. Get on the ship now,” he yells.
“What’s happening?”
“Damn it, Izeria. You told me you would follow my instructions. Did you lie to me just to get me to allow you off the ship?”
“No,” I shake my head.
“Then get your ass back on the ship. NOW!”
Tears fill my eyes. Though I don’t want to, I do as he says. As I run to the front of the ship, I hear the metal orb talking to Jacob.
“Jacob Bollinger, you have a warrant out for your arrest.”
What? The orb goes on to name the illegal things Jacob has done.
“You are wanted on Neptune for larceny. You are wanted on Uranus for larceny.
You are wanted on Venus for larceny and assault.”
What the hell? Jacob’s gaze meets mine as the orb continues to list his crimes. His lips move.
“Get on the ship,” he mouths to me.
A commotion pulls my attention to the front of the outpost. Guards are rushing in our direction. I glance back at Jacob to find him replacing the fuel handle back on the pump.
“Let’s go Jacob. We can leave before they get here.”
He nods at the orb. The red beam is still pointing at him.
“Red means armed. If I move, it’ll shoot,” he tells me.
Stars, this can’t be happening.
“Princess, get on the ship. Please.”
With tears rolling down my face, I do as he asks. I press the button on my timekeeper. The door to the ship opens. I climb inside.
“Princess, the Captain has ordered me to keep you safe,” the ship informs me.
I stare at the perimeter screen that shows me Jacob. The guards are handcuffing him and carrying him into the space station. They don’t have to handle him so roughly. I want to help. I don’t know what to do. Jacob stares over his shoulder. Our eyes meet. He keeps staring at me until he’s behind the doors of the outpost.
“What are they going to do to him?” I ask Blue.
“He will be detained here until they’re able to contact the authorities of his homeworld.”
“And then what?”
“I have reviewed the list of crimes committed by Jacob Bollinger. He has six counts of larceny, two counts of assault and one count of attempted murder.”
“What? Jacob wouldn’t do any of those things.”
“He will stand trial on his homeworld. If found guilty, he will more than likely receive the death penalty.”
“Oh my stars.” I sink into the nearest chair. I can’t let him die. “We have to do something.”
