Welcome to the month of love. Not only is Valentine’s Day coming up, but this is Black History month! This month, my characters will be describing their idea of the perfect date night. Feel free to leave a comment on the post telling me about your perfect date night or your plans for Valentine’s Day.
Let’s get to the interview. Enjoy!
Siren: His Justin and Tahlia. Thank you guys for chatting with me today.
Tahlia: No problem, Siren. We’re excited to be here. Right, Justin?
Justin: Yeah. Excited!
Tahlia: Don’t mind him. He’s excited. He’s just not capable of showing it. They don’t call him the Ice Prince for nothing.
Siren: That’s right. He is called the Ice Prince. Now I’m curious to know what the Ice Prince considers the perfect date night.
Justin: I’ll let Tahlia go first.
Tahlia: Okay. I’ll go first. For my perfect date night, there has to be wine and chocolate. That’s a must.
Siren: Of course!
Tahlia: We don’t have to go out. But, if we did go out, I’d want to go somewhere that wasn’t crowded. I’d like an intimate setting. Dim lights, low music playing in the background. For dinner, I’d like seafood. I love seafood. At the end of the night, maybe we can take a walk around the park. You know, to help digest the food we’d just ate. After that, we can go home and maybe have another glass of wine. You can never have too much wine.
Tahlia: Then we’d take a bubble bath. After we get out of the tub, we’d dry each other off and then lotion each other down. And, uh, after all of that touching, we’d see where the mood takes us from there.
Siren: That’s sound great. Um, are you blushing?
Tahlia: Me? No.
Siren: *Laughing* I think you are blushing. Me thinks there’s more to your idea of the perfect date night, but you’re not sharing it with us.
Tahlia: Nope. That’s it. Dry off then go to bed. Your turn, Justin.
Siren: Keep your secrets then, Tahlia. *Winks at her.* Okay, Justin, you’re up. Let the readers know your idea of the perfect date night.
Justin: Everything Tahlia said is perfect. If she wants that, I’ll give it to her. But, I don’t need any of that.
Siren: Oh, okay. What do you need for your date night to be perfect?
Justin: *Stares intently at Tahlia.* All I need is her. I don’t need any wine. I don’t need food. And when it comes to chocolate, I don’t need that either. Because there’s nothing sweeter than her.
Siren quietly fans herself. Is it getting hot in here or is it just me? Even Tahlia is looking a little flushed. And the way he’s looking at her… oh my! I think they may need some time alone.
Justin: Tahlia’s bubble bath idea sounds good. But there’s other ways to get wet. Ways that don’t involve water at all.
Siren: What do they involve?
Justin: My fingers. My tongue. My…
Tahlia: Okay! Thanks for having us Siren. Justin and I…. we need to go on a date. Right now!
Siren: Right now?
Tahlia: Yep. We’re leaving.
Siren: But…. *Watches them rush from the room.*
Well, I guess that’s the end of that interview. With the way they ran up out of here, they’ve probably already made it home and Tahlia is probably already getting wet…. No water needed. I hope you enjoyed this short interview with the characters from, Just In Time For Love. If you want to know more about them, check out their novella on Amazon.

Happy Thursday and welcome to another edition of Siren Chat. This month, we’re focusing on New Year’s Resolutions. I’m interviewing characters from my books to find out what their resolutions are. Today, we have the Killer Crew from Garrett’s Temptation joining us. But, before we get to them, I’ll share another one of my resolutions.
This year, I hope to read more. Lately, I haven’t had much time to read. And instead of waiting on me to find time, my favorite authors keep dropping amazing books. From Shani Greene-Dowdell, to L. Loren, Posey Parks, C.D Samuda and so many more, I have a lot of catching up to do. I still need to read all of the books in the Once Upon A Villain series and the A Very Alpha Christmas series. This year, I plan to carve out some time to read more. I shared 2 books from my To-Read list today in my newsletter. I’ll share them and more on my blog soon. Feel free to leave me recommendations in the comments.
Now, for what you all really came here for. Let’s chat with the Killer Crew. Not all of the guys could make it. Garrett is keeping them very busy. But, Nik, Liam, and Kris showed up.
Warning: I am not responsible for what they do or say. And please forgive them for everything they do and say.
P.S. This interview contains spoilers. Be sure you’ve read my FREEBIE, The Fallout, before reading this interview.
Siren: Hey guys, could you sit down, please? Liam, is that a bomb? Why did you bring that in here?
Liam: It’s not a bomb. It used to be a bomb. I’ve taken it apart to study it.
Siren – Why? Never mind. Guys, let’s get started. What are you huddled up in the corner doing? Oh, wow. Is that a birthday gift for me?
Nik – We heard your birthday is today. So, we got you a little something.
Siren – Feeling special.Opens the box. It’s a set of daggers. Smiles. I LOVE IT!
Nik: I told you she’d like it. You owe me $20, Kris. Pay up. You lost the bet.
Kris: Whatever! Siren, I voted to get you jewelry. Why are you happy about daggers? You’re no killer.
Siren: You’re right. I’m not. But they’re shiny and cute. And look, they’re even pointy….
Nik: Careful. They’re not toys.
Siren: I love them. I’m going to put these in my office as decoration.
Nik: What? Daggers are not decoration.
Siren: They’re mine and I can do whatever I want with them. Now, let’s get to those resolutions.
Nik: Wait, those daggers weren’t cheap and…
Siren: Would you rather have me get them dirty with blood or keep them clean and on display?
Nik, Liam, and Kris: Dirty with blood.
Siren: Of course, you’d all say that. They’re mine and I can do what I want with them. Now, let’s get to these resolutions. Which one of you guys would like to go first?
Liam: The youngest should go first.
Nik: The most handsome should go first. That means me.
Siren: You’re a twin.
Nik: Grins. But, I’m the handsome twin.
Kris: The one with the most kills should go first.
Nik: That’s still me.
Kris: That’s me.
Siren: How about we let Liam go first.
Nik: Why Liam?
Siren: Because, he’s holding a bomb that I want him to get out of here.
Nik: Makes sense.
Siren: Okay, Liam, tell me three of your resolutions.
Liam places his broken down bomb on the couch next to him. Nik and Kris scoots away from him. Siren leans back.
Liam: It’s not going to go off, guys. You know what? That’s one of my resolutions. I wish everyone wouldn’t be so afraid of my devices.
Nik: Last month, you rigged the washer machine. Now, everyone is scared to use it. And Oni is asking Garrett to buy a new one.
Liam: I’m not done with it. Once I’m finished, we’ll be able to remote-activate it. So, if we ever have to evacuate and blow up the safehouse to get rid of evidence, I can detonate the washing machine and it will take the entire place down, leaving no evidence behind.
Siren: You turned the washing machine into a bomb?
Liam: It’s not a bomb. It’s an exothermic reactor with….
Nik: It’s a bomb. It goes boom and it kills people.
Liam: *Sighs.* It’s kind of a bomb. But, forget about that. I’ve got two more resolutions. My second resolution is, I hope we can find a bigger safehouse.
Nik: That’s not a resolution.
Liam: Right. I should word it differently. I plan to go check out the other safehouses and see if they have more room.
Kris: You’re still complaining about the twins being in everything?
Liam: They own the house. Everything is baby proofed. I’m not allowed….
Nik: You’re not allowed to build sh*t that explodes in the house. Because of that, you want a bigger house?
Kris: If we had a bigger house, you still wouldn’t be allowed to build sh*t that explodes in the house. That’s what your shed is for.
Liam: Whatever. My third resolution is, I hope Scar returns soon. We need him.
Nik and Kris nods.
Siren: Oh, y’all nodding?
Nik: Yeah. Why wouldn’t we want our boy back?
Siren: Really? Because how I heard it was, you told him to leave.
Nik: Fake news, Siren. I never told him to leave. I did tell him to, you know, not be so close to Oni.
Siren: Which pretty much means leaving.
Nik: I never said those words.
Siren: Kris, how do you feel about this?
Kris: I think Scar leaving was a good thing.
Siren: This motherfu…. Why, Kris?
Kris: I haven’t spoken to him. But, I know he’s alive. If he wasn’t, I’m sure we’d know and then we’d have to kill whoever was responsible and…
Siren: We don’t have all day.
Kris: Glares at Siren.
Siren: Smiles. Please tell me why you think it’s a good idea, please?
Kris: He needs to be out on his own for awhile. And Garrett needs to no longer have his right hand man for a while. And they both need to see that they’re stronger together.
Nik: Yeah. That’s why I told him to take some time off and….
Siren: Lies. Don’t try to jump on Kris’ answer.
Nik: I’m serious.
Liam: No, he’s not.
Siren: We’re getting off track again. So, Liam, you’ve said your resolutions. Now, I want to hear Kris’.
Nik: Why Kris?
Siren: Because I think yours will take longer than his.
Kris: You’re right, Siren. I only have one.
Siren: We agreed on three.
Kris: I only have one.
Nik: Let me tell you a joke, Siren. What’s on the menu at the restaurant called Karma?
Siren: I don’t know. Um, chicken?
Nik: No. There’s no menu at Karma. You get what you deserve.
Siren: Bursts out laughing.
Liam and Kris:*Crickets*
Nik: That’s why I like you, Siren. You laugh at my jokes.
Siren: You’re a funny guy, Nik. But, we’ve got to move on. Kris, share your ONE resolution.
Kris: Peace on Earth.
Siren, Liam, Nik: What the hell?
Siren: That’s such a generic answer.
Nik: Forget generic. If there was peace on Earth, we wouldn’t have dispatch cases to work.
Kris: *Nods* I know.
Liam: And you’re okay with that?
Kris: I am.
Nik: *Appears shocked* Who are you and what have you done with my brother?
Kris: Hear me out. We have so many open cases right now. We have twins in the house. Dean and Garrett are always concerned about Oni and Rain’s safety. Nik, you’ve even been concerned with the safety of L….
Nik: Heyyyy. Shut the F*ck up. Just say your resolutions. Don’t go volunteering information.
Siren: Wait, I want to hear this. Whose safety has Nik been concerned with?
Nik: Siren, mind your business.
Siren: Is it a woman?
Nik: Nope, it’s a penguin. My New Year’s resolution is to save the penguins. Okay, guys, lets wrap this up. We’ve got somewhere to be in an hour.
Siren: Wait. You didn’t tell me your resolution, Nik.
Nik: I just did. I want to save the penguins.
Siren: No, you don’t.
Nik: Seriously, I do. Ever since I was forced to wear a bow tie to the wedding, I’ve felt a special bond with penguins.
Liam and Kris starts to laugh. Siren rolls her eyes. Liam’s ‘not a bomb’ starts to beep.
Siren: Liam, get that out of here.
Liam: It’s not going to explode.
Siren: Now, Liam.
Kris: Come on, Kid. Let’s go before we blow up the neighborhood.
Liam: Seriously, it’s not going to explode.
Kris: Come on, Kid. Happy Birthday, Siren. How old are you?
Nik: It’s not polite to ask a woman her age.
Kris: Siren isn’t a woman, she’s family. How old are you?
Siren: I’m For… Fo… Fort…. Sorry, I can’t even say the number.
Kris: There’s nothing wrong with forty. Try to say it again.
Siren: For…. Fort…
Nik: You’re a fort?
Siren: Shut up, Nik. Today, I am Forty! There, I said it.
Nik: Good, girl.
Siren rolls her eyes. Nik laughs. That ‘not a bomb’ is still ticking.
Liam: I’m leaving. Come on, guys.
Liam and Kris head out.
Siren: Nik, wait.
Nik: I really want to save the penguins.
Siren: Forget that. Do you feel any guilt about Scar?
Nik: Guilt? Why would I feel guilt? I saved a relationship.
Siren: How? They won’t even talk.
Nik: Yeah, but they haven’t killed each other. That’s what would’ve happened if I hadn’t stepped in and talked to Scar.
Siren: But you made him feel like an outsider.
Nik: I know.
Siren: That’s wrong.
Nik: At least he’s not dead.
Siren: You made Garrett feel like he was right.
Nik: I know.
Siren: He’s not right.
Nik: At least he’s not dead.
Siren: Why do you keep saying that?
Nik: You’re thinking from a person on the outside looking in. All you see is wrong or right. There’s no wrong or right here. They’re both wrong. And they’re both right. Siren, we’re not like regular men. And when it comes to love, we’re more emotional than regular men.
Nik: Hell yeah. For men like us, all we see is death and destruction everyday. We become jaded. Life becomes a nuisance. We no longer fear death. We know that in our line of work, we can be killed at any time. However, when a ray of light appears in our life in the form of love, all of that changes. The fearless become the fearful. We no longer think with our trigger finger, we start to think with our heart. Like I said before, we’re not like regular men. We don’t understand wooing and all that. All we know is one word, MINE. Our women, our love, our ray of life, belongs to us and us only. If anyone, friend or foe, looks like they pose a threat to that, they become the enemy. Scar was very close to becoming Garrett’s enemy.
Siren: But, he already is…
Nik: No, he left before that could happen. Right now, Garrett is just mad because a part of him feels like an idiot for doubting Scar’s loyalty. However, his pride won’t let him reach out to Scar, not yet. He needs time. He needs to work through his own issues. But he needs to do it without Scar around.
Siren: What about poor, Scar?
Nik: Scar isn’t poor. He got big money. He’s a money hoarder.
Siren: I didn’t mean poor that way. But, a money hoarder? Really? I wish I was a money hoarder.
Nik: You need some money, Siren? Does your husband not provide for you?
Siren: First of all, he does. Second of all, I don’t need him to. I make my own money, thank you.
Nik: Oh, right. You’re an independent woman.
Siren: Damn straight.
Nik: Mumbles under his breath – I’m so sick of independent women who won’t let you take care of them.
Siren: What was that? Are you talking about someone specific?
Nik: I said, you don’t have to worry much about poor Scar. Scar needs to find himself. He needs to find what he wants out of life. Hell, who knows, he may even find love while he’s out on his own.
Siren: What if he doesn’t come back?
Nik: He will.
Siren: How do you know?
Nik: Because men like us never turn our backs on our brothers. We fight. We fall out. We separate. But when needed, we always show up. If Scar calls, we will drop everything and come running. If Garrett calls, Scar will drop everything and come running. That’s true loyalty. It may bend. But it never breaks.
Siren: But what if…
Nik: Siren, have faith in us. In the end, everything will be okay. And their relationship will be stronger than before.
Siren: *Sigh* If you say so. Before you go, who is it that you’ve been trying to protect?
Nik: Looks down at his wrist. Look at the time.
Siren: You’re not wearing a watch.
Nik: Uh, I am. It’s invisible.
Siren: An invisible watch? Right?
Nik: Yeah. Liam made it. You know that Kid is a genius.
Siren: Have you found a woman that you like, Nik?
Nik: Me? No. I, uh, don’t have time for that. So, I’ve got to go. It’s my turn to watch the twins while Garrett and Oni have a date night. Let’s do this again. It was fun. I’ll bring the penguins next time. Happy Birthday. Bye.
Nik rushes from the room, leaving Siren staring after him.
Siren: So, readers, that’s that. I’m pretty sure Nik has a crush on someone. I’ll find out who it is and let you know later. But, what do you think about the things he said? Do you agree with Nik’s method of trying to resolve things? Let me know in the comments. I’m torn. I kind of understand what he’s saying. He’s thinking that Scar and Garrett need to be apart to realize just how much they need each other. But, I feel like he could’ve gotten them to that point with a less aggressive plan. *Sigh* Let me know how you feel about all this. Should Nik have just stayed out of it? Or was he right to have gotten involved before things escalated between Scar and Garrett?
Also, next week is the final week of New Year’s Resolutions. And I’ll be interviewing our boy, Vlad. I didn’t plan to interview him. He asked to be interviewed. He has something he wants to say about all of this. Find out his thoughts next week! Until then, be safe and always read past your bedtime! Smooches!

They say all good things must come to an end.
But that wasn’t supposed to happen to them. They were supposed to be brothers for life. But if blood relatives can fallout, why couldn’t they? Chaos brought them together. Loyalty bound them together. But love would tear them apart. And jealousy would be the reason for their fallout.
Note: This ends on a cliffhanger! This is not a romance. This is a glimpse into the past and bridges the gap between book 2, Garrett’s Temptation, and book 4, Scar’s Obsession. Enjoy!
For some couples, it was love at first sight. For Rhen Fujisaki and his mate, the love hasn’t happened yet. But the hate is strong.
He’s the leader of the vampire clan. His mate is the Goddess of War. They’ve both been banished to a frozen tundra called the Frostlands, where danger lurks around every corner. To survive, they’ll have to work together. But his mate would rather end his life than help save it. Rhen knows he’s to blame for the hatred she feels for him. Yet, every attempt to prove that he loves her usually ends with her trying to kill him. Apologies don’t work on his mate. Neither do gifts. Since his love tactics aren’t swaying her, he’s going to focus on something he’s good at – war tactics. This Christmas, he’s going to win the heart of his Goddess or die trying. *WARNING: This book ends with a cliffhanger! Book 4 coming in July 2021!
“I’m not the same vampire I was that night, Winter,” Rhen said, voice low.
“And I’m not the same Winter I was that night. I know better than to put my faith in anyone other than myself. If you need help coming up with a plan, I’ll help…”
“No, thank you. I got this.” He would show her that he could handle sh*t like this on his own.
“Rhen, I can…”
“I don’t need your help, Winter. I’ve told you what I came to say. I’ll leave now.”
“Hey, Rhen,” She called after him.
Ignoring her, he headed over to his bike. He’d just climbed on and was getting ready to shove his helmet on when he heard her open her front door.
“Get in here.”
He froze. Surely, he hadn’t heard her correctly. Not once had she ever invited him into her cabin. Moving slowly, afraid that if he moved too fast, he’d wake up from this dream, Rhen lowered his helmet and fastened it back into its place on his snow-bike. He wanted to ask her to repeat herself, but was afraid the response would be different.
Instead, he climbed off his bike. He felt like he was moving in slow motion as he walked over to her fence. He stood close to the fence and stared down at it, expecting it to spark. It didn’t. The lock on the gate clicked open. She’d let down her defenses for him. His gaze rose to the cabin, to her.
He couldn’t stop a tremble from creeping over him. She was letting him inside. His gums ached as his fangs dropped. He balled his hands into fists, not wanting her to see his nails changing into claws. Standing at her gate, staring at her, Rhen took a deep breath and released it slowly.
We will not hurt her, he told the darkness inside of him. That can never happen again. I’d rather hurt myself than hurt her. The bloodlust inside of him was rising. But it wasn’t trying to take over. It wasn’t craving her to the point of obsession. Well, it was, but it knew the consequences.
It knew that hurting her was akin to hurting himself. It knew that hurting her would send him spiraling into an abyss of depression that would lead to him going on a killing spree. It would lead to him killing any and everyone who looked at him wrong. It had damn near led to him losing his title as ruler of the vampires.
Most importantly, it would lead to his mate staring at him with fear, disgust and hatred in her pretty brown eyes. And tears. Tears, those were the worst. Seeing his mate cry was already hard. Knowing he was the reason behind her crying felt like he’d been having his skin ripped from him body.
At that thought, his dark companion, bloodlust, retreated, slithering back down into its hole. Yes, he was a vampire. Yes, he craved blood, Yes, he needed it to survive. But he’d rather die than feed off his mate again. Even just a little bit of her blood could send him over the edge. For that reason, he had to resist it.
But he didn’t have to resist her. As long as he resisted her blood, he could allow himself to be near her. And now, she was allowing him inside. Asking him to come inside. She was standing at the door, holding it open, for him. Him! His mate leaned her hip against the door and cocked her head to the side.
“Are you coming or what?”
Rhen smiled a wicked smile. I’m coming. I’m coming for you, Winter Warren. He pulled the gate open and stepped inside. For the first time since being cursed to the Frostlands, Rhen felt like was going home.
Now he just had to give his mate a reason to let him stay home.
I’ve done it. I’m TikToking. I’m pretty sure that’s not a word or a thing. What I mean is, I’ve joined the TikTok community and I have no idea what I’m doing. But, if you want to follow me while I figure it out, feel free. I must warn you again, I don’t know what I’m doing. That’s what makes it fun though. See you on the Tok! (I’m pretty sure the kids are not saying that. I’m so not hip. Do they still say hip? Maybe it’s lit. IDK.)

She pulled open the bedroom door. Her mouth dropped open. Abs for days. Let’s count them. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. And there goes the towel. And there goes the dick print. Her mouth immediately went dry.
Her gaze snapped to his. “Uh, huh?” It was still big. Just like it was in college. It hadn’t shrunk. Wait, could dicks do that? Probably.
“What channel is the weather channel?” He asked.
If she could see the shape of his dick, that meant he was on hard. Why was he on hard? Was he just going to leave it like? Wouldn’t it start to hurt if he didn’t do something about it? Her gaze dropped lower. Yep, it seemed to be on hard. He needed to take care of that. ASAP.
“Hey.” Kang snapped his fingers in her face.
“Oh. Uh. Hey. What do you need?”
“My face is up here. What were you just staring at?”
“Huh?” Willow scratched her head. “Nothing. I can’t even see that good. I don’t have my contacts in.”
“It looked like you were staring at my…”
“I was not staring at your dick,” Willow blurted out.
“Towel. I was about to say, it looked like you were staring at my towel.”
Where was an earthquake when you needed one? Right now, she wanted the earth to open up and swallow her whole. Embarrassed, she tried to laugh the matter off. Chuckling, she punched his shoulder.
“That’s what I said. Towel.”
“You said dick.”
“What dick? I don’t see any dicks.”
He gripped the edge of his towel.
“Whoa. Stop. Don’t you dare.”
He gifted her with a devilish grin. “I thought you said you wanted to see a dick.”
“I dick not. I mean, I did not.” Damn it, now she was flustered.

Are you ready for some March Madness? No, I’m not talking about basketball. I’m talking about Siren’s ‘Madly In Lust In March Blog Posts’. All month long, I’m sharing naughty excerpts from my novels and novellas. First up, an excerpt from my dirty fairy tale, Into The Darkness.
Once Upon A Time…
There lived a witch by the name of Celeste Dubois, who was tired of her sister witches disturbing her eternal slumber with their cries. Lately, they all called out to her with the same plea, ‘stop Rip Van Warren, the witch hunter’. Unable to ignore their cries, she lures Rip into her world, where she keeps him as her prisoner for twenty years. She had every intention of torturing him for those twenty years. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
For twenty years Rip Van Warren is held captive by a beautiful bayou witch. He should hate her. However, their time together has made him rethink his vendetta against witches. All of his life he thought magic was evil. Celeste has taught him that it’s a gift to be treasured, almost as much as he treasures her.
When an unexpected threat enters their lives, Celeste is forced to send him back to his own world in order to protect him. He awakens in the middle of the swamp, confused and dazed. His memories of the last twenty years are foggy. Yet, there’s one person he’ll never forget, the witch he left behind. He’s desperately seeking a way back to her. However, the witches of New Orleans aren’t willing to help a famous witch hunter.
Will the dark witch and the dark hunter have their happily ever after?
Or will he return too late to save the witch he loves?
“Why did you summon me again?”
“I simply need a massage,” she told him.
“A massage? That’s all you want?”
“Of course. What else would I want?”
Her breath froze in her lungs.
“Witch, I’m tired of pretending there’s nothing between us but hate,” he told her. “That shit is getting old. And I’m tired of jacking off while thinking of you.”
“We’re enemies, remember?”
“Yeah, but even that is starting to seem pointless.”
“You stole power from my witches.”
“I did it to protect others.”
“You killed some of my witches.”
“Yeah, and think of all the people I may have saved from them.”
“So are you.”
“So are you.”
“Not true. I have a heart. I’ve just never had a reason to use it.”
“Same here. Until now.”
Until now? “What does that mean?”
“What do you think it means?”
She didn’t want to think about it. She didn’t dare hope it meant what she wanted it to mean.
“I think I need a massage,” Celeste told him. “Now.”
He sighed. “Yes, your highness. Whatever you want, your highness. Would you like me to massage you through your robe or would you like a towel to cover you up?”
Celeste took a deep breath. “Neither.” She stood up, back to him and shrugged out of her robe. Naked, she laid back on the bed, not missing his sudden intake of breath. “I’m ready now.”
“You’re trying to kill me.”
“No, that was last week.”
He burst out laughing. “You got jokes.”
She smiled, almost forgetting she was lying naked in front of her prisoner. “The massage lotion is on the table.”
She could hear him moving around behind her.
“You ready?” He asked.
“Use your words.”
She could hear the laughter in his voice.
“Yes, hunter. I’m ready.”
“Keep it up, and tomorrow I’ll send you to the dungeon without dinner.”
“No, not that. Tomorrow is Taco Tuesday.”
Celeste burst out laughing. She couldn’t recall the last time she’d laughed so hard. All thought of laughter evaporated the moment his hands touched her skin.
“Your body is warm,” he told her.
What was she supposed to say to that? He rubbed the lotion into her skin then proceeded to massage her.
“You’re tense. It must be hard work protecting the bayou witches?”
“Not so much, since you’re not there hunting them.”
“Why are you tense then?”
“Because now you’re here, haunting my dreams.” Shit. She hadn’t meant to reveal that truth.
His hands stilled. “You dream about me?”
“You just said…”
“More massaging and less talking.”
“I can multitask,” he told her as his hands resumed rubbing her. “So, you dream about me, huh?”
She ignored his question.
“In your dreams, am I prince charming, rolling up to your tower window to ask you to let down your hair and then I save you from the evil witch?”
Celeste smiled, but still ignored him.
“Or am I the prince who kisses you and awakens you from a magic induced slumber and saves you from the evil witch?”
Celeste suppressed a giggle.
“Oh, I know,” he said as he massaged her legs. “I’m the prince who rescues you from the wicked witch who sent a tornado to kidnap you and your dog.”
Celeste couldn’t hold her giggle in. “Do I really look like a damsel in distress who would need saving?”
His hands moved slower over her legs. “No.”
“I guess that makes me the prince who takes care of you in other ways.”
“What other ways?”
“Well, if you don’t need a prince for protection, you must need a prince for different reasons.” His hands rubbed over her thighs, inching higher.
“Or, maybe you don’t need a prince at all,” he told her. “Perhaps you need something else entirely.” His hands brushed against her center, sending waves of pleasure over her flesh. “Perhaps you need someone just as dark as you are.”
His finger found her clit and began rubbing, first gently then he applied more pressure and she could barely contain her moans.
“Perhaps you need someone ruthless, someone whose just as scarred by life as you are.”
How did he know? Celeste shivered when he slipped a finger inside of her. He leaned forward, and whispered in her ear. “I know what you need witch. Because I need the same thing.” His finger pushed into her more forcefully.
She gripped the sheets as he pleasured her. He continued whispering into her ear as his fingers worked their magic.
“You make me feel,” he told her. “I don’t know why, I don’t know how, but you do. And damn it, I like it.”
So did she. Celeste ground her hips, causing his finger to slip deeper into her.
“You make me want things I’m not supposed to want,” he whispered.
“L-like what?” She was so close to coming.
That was not the answer she’d expected. But it pushed her over the edge. Celeste screamed his name as she came all over his fingers. Gasping for air, she turned to stare at him, only to find him licking his fingers clean. Damn, that was sexy.
“The next time you come, it’ll be on my cock.”
Celeste stared into his eyes and saw the same longing she saw whenever she looked into the mirror. They were alike in so many ways. If she kept this up, she’d start needing him. She didn’t want to need anyone. She wasn’t supposed to need anyone. Her power was all she needed.
“I want you, Celeste.”
She shook her head.

A new year means new resolutions. Today, I’m sharing a few of my resolutions and I’m allowing the characters from my holiday paranormal romance, A Witch For Christmas, to share their resolutions with you. (The two of them don’t get along. You’ve been warned.) Feel free to leave a comment letting me know what your 2018 resolutions/goals are.
Every year, I make the same resolution: Lose weight. Do I ever follow through? Nope. Never. Ever. Not even once. I start off great. Then I add in so many cheat days that I should be on the show Cheaters.
This year, I’m switching things up. My goal is to be healthier. No more dieting. No more counting calories. No more feeling guilty when I eat a hamburger. I just want to be healthier.
What does that mean for me? It means less sugary treats. (Hi, my name is Siren and I’m addicted to chocolate.) I plan to cook more. (I hate cooking.) By cooking more, I control what goes into my body, instead of letting fast food joints have that honor. (Sorry, Ronald McDonald, but I’m breaking up with you.)
I love veggies. This year, my goal is to eat more of them. Same thing with fruits. I still plan to eat chocolate. Just not every day. (No more morning toast with Nutella.) I also plan to workout. I love to dance. So, I’ll be doing some dance workout videos. (I’m too old to twerk, but I can pop, lock and drop it.)
Oh, besides living a healthier life, I also plan to vacay more. Sounds fun and easy. It’s not. Especially if you’re a workaholic like me. But, life is short. I need to spend more time with my family and enjoy life. Last resolution, talk to God more. It’s so easy to pray when things are going bad. But, when things are going good, you sometimes forget whose responsible.
There you have it, those are my resolutions for 2018. Next up, Tiana and Vic from A Witch For Christmas.
Tiana: My resolution is simple. I want to pass my final Guardian test. To pass the test, I have to protect Victor Wynfell for an entire week. Vic: Good luck with that. Tiana: He isn’t going to make it easy for me. Vic: Damn straight. Tiana: For some reason, he hates me. Vic: I don’t hate you. Tiana: Really? Your forbid me from ever stepping foot on your territory. Vic: Yet, here you are. Tiana: I’m a rebel like that. Plus, I have to be here. I have to guard you in order to pass my test. Vic: I’m pretty sure you’re going to fail. In fact, I plan to get into more fights this week. I also plan to break more pack laws, just to make sure you fail. Tiana: Are you serious? Don’t be a jerk, Vic. What do I have to do to make you behave for just one week? Vic: There’s one thing you can do. It requires blindfolds and handcuffs. Tiana: Vic, that’s blackmail. Vic: No, that’s negotiating. You want something from me and I want something from you. Tiana: Forget this, I’m out. You can continue the interview by yourself. Ugh, you get on my damn nerves. Idiot! I’m telling Siren. Vic: Now that she’s gone, I can tell you my resolution. I plan to make Tiana Cooper mine. I just have to find a way to make her stop hating me. It would probably help if I stopped being a jerk. That’s my other resolution, to stop being a jerk. I wasn’t lying about the handcuffs and blindfolds though. The animal inside of me needs to be in control, it needs to dominate. And we can’t wait to dominate Tiana Cooper in the bedroom. Wish me luck!
She’s a witch on a mission.
Tiana Cooper has made it through her Guardian trials and now it’s time for her to receive her Guardian tattoo. First, she has to complete one final test to prove she can handle protecting any charge who’s placed into her care. Unfortunately, the council sticks her with Victor Wynfell, a shifter who hates witches. The only thing he hates more than witches is her.
All she has to do is keep the brooding shifter safe and out of trouble for seven days and she’ll pass her test. But luck isn’t on her side. Victor finds out she’s been appointed as his Guardian and is now hell bent on making her fail. Keeping a dangerously sexy shifter safe isn’t as easy as she thought it would be. Perhaps it’s going to take more than magic to get the job done.
He’s a shifter carrying a grudge.
Victor Wynfell has been in love with Tiana since they were teens. But, she chose another shifter over him, leaving him with a broken heart and wounded pride. Now that the tables are turned and she needs him, he’s determined to show her how being rejected feels. He’ll do whatever it takes to make her fail.
Even if that means getting into more fights than usual and disobeying pack rules.
With his pack currently under attack from unknown outside sources, it’s easy for him to find trouble to get into. But, watching Tiana fail isn’t making him as happy as he thought it would. Realizing his carelessness is placing her in danger, he changes tactics. He’ll help her, but he wants something in return.
If she wants to pass her test, she’s going to have to play by his rules.
And his rules involve handcuffs, blindfolds and maybe a happy ever after neither of them saw coming.
“I need to heal you.” Tiana slowly made her way over to him.
“Heal me? I think I’m in better shape than you are. You’re moving like you’re hurt.”
“There’s always a price to pay when you seek help from Mother Nature.”
She stepped over bodies in her attempt to get to him. He did the same as he made his way over to her. They met somewhere in the middle, both wincing from the pain caused by moving the small distance that separated them.
“Your eyes,” she whispered.
“You’re trembling,” he told her.
“It’s going to take my body a while to get back up to its normal temperature.”
Vic stared around the bar. “You knocked them all out?”
Tiana pushed her hair, that had come loose, out of her face as she surveyed their surroundings. “I did.”
“At what price?”
Her eyes met his. Staring up at him made her dizzy. She swayed. Her hands gripped his shirt to keep from falling. But there was no chance of her hitting the ground. His arms had instantly wrapped around her.
Pressed against him was that last place she wanted to be. Yet, she was unable to move. She didn’t want to move. And it seemed he didn’t want her to move. Proof of that was currently pressed against her.
Hello erection. Nice to meet you, my name is Tiana. How you doing? Standing completely still, she unashamedly enjoyed the feel of his cock pressed against her. He didn’t acknowledge it, so neither did she.
But they both knew it was there. There was no way something that big could go unnoticed. Yeah, she was hurt, but she’d have to be dead to not notice that. Tiana cleared her throat… a nervous habit.
“Thanks, I almost fell.”
“I wouldn’t have let that happen.”
Was his voice deeper than before or was she imagining it?
“I guess I won’t be teleporting us back to the jag territory.”
“I don’t mind walking. And I don’t mind carrying you.”
Whoa. She knew she should step away. But he felt so warm. And though this bar smelled like piss and shit, he smelled good. Whatever cologne he wore, she needed to get a bottle of it to take home with her and spray on her pillows.
Okay, now she was thinking like a stalker. Tiana tried to step back. Not only did Vic not release her, but he tightened his arms around her. And she could’ve sworn she heard a low growl rumble through his chest.
“We should get out of here before they wake up,” she whispered.
That was all he said. He made no move to leave. There was that low growl again. Or was that his animal purring? How cute. Scratch that. How sexy. She’d never heard a jaguar purr. Purring aside, they really needed to leave.
Out the corner of her eye, she saw a shifter flinch. They wouldn’t remain stunned forever. She attempted to pull away again, but one couldn’t pull away from a shifter who wasn’t ready to let you go. She’d dwell on how that made her feel later.
“Seriously, Vic, they are starting…”
“Why did you help me, Tiana?”
Whoa, he called her by her name instead of witch. “Huh?”
“You used a spell you knew would make you weak. Why would you do that for me? You don’t even like me, right?”
“Right.” His grip eased up a little. “But you’re my charge,” she hurried and said. His grip eased up a little more. “Plus, you’re Colin’s cousin.” He released her.
“You’re right, we should go.” That longing look she’d seen in his eyes moments ago was gone. Now, he looked like the pissed off jag she knew and hated. Or, did she hate him?
“Look, Vic, I don’t know what you wanted me to say,” she yelled to his retreating form.
“I want you to say you’re strong enough to walk back to Wynfell. Let’s go witch.”
So, they were back to that.

Her name is Anika Kaleen. She’s a galactic bounty hunter.
My enemies call me Death. I’m her target.
Falling for her should be the last thing on my mind. Yet, she’s all I think about. It’s ironic that the only female I want, wants me dead. She’s no match for me. Her pride drives her to continue searching for me. My feelings for her keep me from ending her life and putting a stop to this madness.
I’ve tried warning her away. I’ve tried scaring her away. Nothing is working. The only thing her determination is doing is making me want her more. I told her to stop hunting me. I told her if our paths crossed again, I would take her. She didn’t listen. She never listens. But I always keep my promises.
She wants me dead.
I want her… period.
Let’s see which one of us completes our mission.
~A peek into the book~
“Death,” I call out. It feels weird calling to death. But if that’s what I have to call him to keep from angering him, I will.
“Don’t call me that,” he calls down.
“You told me not to call you Dylix. What am I supposed to call you?”
“Don’t call me. Period.”
Okay, now he’s just being a big baby. “Dylix, listen. It feels like there’s a lot you’re not telling me.”
“I don’t owe you anything.”
Ouch. “Uh, sure you do. You kidnapped me. You lied to me. You tied me to a chair. You…”
“You shot me.”
“The bullet went straight through. At least it didn’t get lodged inside your shoulder.”
“You’ve been hunting me for a year.”
“In my defense, my title is bounty hunter. It’s what I do. If you didn’t run, I wouldn’t have to chase you.”
“You shot me with an arrow once…”
“You didn’t die.”
“You still shot me.”
“In the leg. It was more like a friendly request to get you to stop running.”
“You came all the way to Earth to kill me.”
“I’m here to apprehend you. Not kill you.”
“You called me a monster.”
“You are a monster.”
Why did I say that? I’m not wrong. He is a monster. But me saying it aloud doesn’t help my current situation. If I want to escape him I have to be nicer.
To win a copy of this naughty paranormal/Sci-Fi romance all you have to do is…
